Collection and use of personal data from customers, suppliers and other contractors
Please note that we will collect and use the personal data you provide to us as this is necessary for the conclusion and implementation of any agreement with you. This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services.
If you are a (potential) customer of ours, we will use your details to send you an offer, to determine what specifications or wishes a particular good or service should meet, to be able to deliver goods or carry out work for you, to invoice you and to be able to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the implementation aspects of the agreement.
If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal data is also necessary for the conclusion and execution of the agreement. In the case of purchasing, this is necessary in order to be able to let you know what specifications or wishes a particular we feel a good or service should meet, to be able to send a request for a quotation or place an order with you, to be able to pay your invoices and to be able to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about other aspects of the agreement.
You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, it is possible that we are unable to carry out the aforementioned work.
Collection, use and retention of personal data from business relations (other than customers, suppliers and other contractors)
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we will collect and use the personal data you provide because you have given us your permission to do so or because this is necessary to protect our legitimate interests. We process the following data: name, address and contact details.
If we have a business relationship with you, we will use your data to contact you for purposes that are in the interest of our company. This may include purposes such as discussing possible cooperation, providing and obtaining information and maintaining our network.
You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, it is possible that we are unable to implement the aforementioned purposes. Your data will be deleted one year after the last contact.
Transfer to third parties
In connection with the execution of any agreement with you, we may have to provide your personal data to parties that supply parts, materials and products to us or carry out work on our behalf. We will also use external server space to store (parts of) our sales and purchasing records and business relations file, of which your personal data is a part. For this reason, your personal data will be provided to our server space provider. We also use Microsoft Office and the associated storage options for e-mails and other files. Lastly, because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data will be passed on to the provider of this service, provided you have given your consent.
Direct marketing
If you order from us regularly, we will retain and use the personal data you have provided us with in order to inform you personally by e-mail of our existing and new products and services in the future and, optionally, to make you an offer for these. We have a legitimate interest in using your personal data for this purpose, namely to market our products and services. Every time we send you an advertising e-mail, you have the opportunity to let us know that you no longer wish to receive them. See the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every mailing for this.
If you are a one-time customer, we will only send you advertising messages if you have given us your prior consent.
Personal data retention period
If you have requested a quote from us but have not become our customer yet, we will remove your data no later than one year after our last contact. If we have received an offer from you, but have not become your customer, your personal data will also be deleted no later than one year after our last contact. If you have become our customer or if we have become your customer, we will retain your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you has been fully executed. The period of seven years corresponds to the period during which we are obliged to keep our records for the Tax and Customs Administration. We will delete your personal data at the end of this period.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us to view your own personal data. If there is reason to do so, you can also ask us to supplement your personal data or to change inaccuracies. In addition, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data or to limit the use of your personal data. You can also object to our collection and use of your data or submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Lastly, you can request to obtain your personal data from us or have them transferred to another party. To exercise your rights, please contact our administration department (see the contact page on our website for all contact details). If you have any questions or want more information about the collection and use of your personal data, please feel free to contact us.
